My mom has made this for years. We make it without the marshmallows, and serve it as a fruit salad, that way we don't have to wait for dessert to eat it. It's yummy.

My great grandma used to make this on all the holidays when our family got together. When she passed away, my grandma did it. I began making it to take to carry-ins. Several months ago, grandma passed away. Now when I make it, it brings back memories of all those holidays when I hurried to finish my dinner just to get a heaping serving of this dessert! My kids love it as much as I always have. If you're looking for something quick and easy that everyone will think took hours to make this is the one! We sometimes add chopped walnuts to this as well...
