This is an easy elegant dessert that requires you to plan ahead. I receive kudos wherever and whenever I bring this dessert. It can be expensive when strawberries are out of season.

Excellent! I made this for the first time for a Christmas Party at work, everyone loved it, and asked for the recipe. Its airy and light and you can just keep eating it. I used dried egg whites instead and it turned out great.

I made this for my friend's surprise birthday party. She had told me about a dessert that she'd loved as a child, this was the one! Even though you have to plan ahead for this recipe, it's worth it. It's not difficult, it's very impressive and it's delicious!

This is my defacto recipe for special desserts. I've made it for book club, baby showers, and work socials. Every time I make it, people ask me for the recipe. The key is to plan in advance as the shell needs 12 hours to set. I often will omit the marshmallows as the dessert is sweet enough without them. Optional toppings include peaches and mandarin slices or blueberries and raspberries (for a patriotic flare). Always a hit!
