This was beautiful! These are really sweet though and although the cherries and nuts looked pretty, we ended up picking them off as the cherries were just over the top sweet, and we didn't care for the almonds at all. I let mine cool about twenty min and then inverted it, but I guess that wasn't long enough as there was a lot of sugary glaze and it ran over the edge of the dish making a small mess. I had planned on drizzling a white glaze over this, but glad I didn't as it was super sweet already. I'm calling this Cherry almond fall-apart bread though as for some reason the individual pieces kind of fell apart from each other and it really wouldn't slice for that reason. I've never had monkey bread do that before, so I'm puzzled as to what I did differently. Anyway, this turned out pretty good overall and used up some leftover frozen roll dough from the holidays taking up space in my freezer. Thanks, my son is devouring it already.
