This is a delicious cheesecake & yes, the crust is the best! I also add 1/4 c sugar to the crust. **hint** if you have whole almonds, put them in a blender with the sugar and it grinds up nicely and doesn’t clump like it will with just the nuts alone. If you want it slightly pink like the picture shows, you will have to add food coloring or mix in part of the filling (w/o cherries) when adding the eggs.
