The great thing about Chef John is that he educates beyond the recipe. His recipes caught my eye last year and we've enjoyed many (all we've tried). The other day, I read his profile and wasn't surprised to see his roots in a culinary academy. This West Coast Boy rocks.
I used mayo, soy sauce, lemon juice and dried basil. Yum. I even used this sauce to dunk artichoke leaves.
