These were a good brunch dish. I also reduced the amount of butter to 2-3 Tablespoons- more than enough.

Mu husband loved these. Said they were his new favorite thing I make. I'm not a big fan of Ranch but I thought they were really good too! I did cut the butter a bit.

These were to die for! I actually only added 3 lbs of potatoes rather than 4 and added the same amount of everything else. I think these are my new favorite side!

Used smoked paperika instead of chili powder; kids won't eat chili powder. It was good!

We didn't care for this recipe at all. If you like pouring ranch dressing over a baked potato, then this is the recipe for you - otherwise skip it.

Yum! We thought these were great. I followed the recipe as written, other than scaling it all the way back to 2 servings and omitting the salt. Really tasty, I will make these again! Thanks :)

Everyone really liked this. I used a 3# bag of small Yukon Gold potatoes and quartered them, reduced the butter a little and added some chives to the top. Thanks for sharing the the recipe!

I made it exactly as stated and my guests really like this side dish that we served with grilled steaks. It wasn't very spicy so all the kids ate it, although if I were making it for just adults, I would have definitely added some extra chili powder and maybe even some sliced hot peppers to spice it up some more. Overall, fun recipe that could be altered easily to fit your wants.

fab!! i didn't omit butter and my honey is more particular than i and we didn't find to greasy however we had cut the recipe in half?? don't think that wd matter however!! maybe the others used a different type of potato than called for and that cd have made a difference as some potatoes are drier than others?? i made exactly as called for and was great!! wouldn't change a thing other than i used fat free cheese and fat free dressing! will try without butter next time and c what all the fuss is about!!

awesome recipe! I come from a family of 12 kids of all ages and they all loved. it. Like many others I reduced the amount of butter, and I put in more cheese as well as some cooked onions for some added flavor. great recipe, definetly should be tried.

This would be a five star recipe with the addition of crumbled bacon, bacon ranch and green onions. That's what I used, and it was SO good!

DH really dug these! Me? I could take 'em or leave 'em... I halved the potatoes, used about 1 tbs butter, added in some crumbled bacon, and topped with green onions.

Too much butter as written. I used olive oil instead and mixed the oil, spices, and potatoes in a bowl prior to putting in the baking pan. Added a few more spices and the potatoes were awesome!
