Ingredients

  • 8 slices Wonder® Classic White Bread
  • 3 tablespoons softened butter
  • 1 (8 ounce) package sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups low-fat milk
  • 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon paprika

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Spread butter on the Wonder Bread slices and cut into cubes. Place 1/3 of the cubes in a 2-quart casserole dish and sprinkle with 1/3 of the cheese; repeat twice.
  3. In a medium bowl beat eggs, milk, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt and paprika. Pour over bread and cheese layers. Cover the dish and chill for 3 hours.
  4. Bake uncovered for 1 hour.
  5. Let stand for 15 minutes before serving.
