This focaccia bread is not only easy to make, but absolutely wonderful! I was very impressed how well it turned out. I followed the recipe exactly, but used freshly grated parmesan cheese and mozarella cheese, instead of cheddar. I served it with Jamie's Minestrone soup, from this site and it was SO good! My husband couldn't get enough!

This was simple and delicious. I added some pepperoni under the cheese and had some marinara to dip the focaccia in. Then my friend and I enjoyed it together. Great recipe!!!

Thia had such a beautiful flavour and was a great success, even though it was the first time I have ever made bread. It tastes amazing! I will be making it for some family gatherings coming up, it's so easy yet has maximum taste.

This bread is amazing. Every time my friends come over for dinner they ask if I'll make this recipe for them. I usually add some very thinly sliced tomatoes to the top along with the onion as an extra touch.

This is a fantastic recipe. I do cut back on the cheese on top a bit though. 1 cup is just a bit too much. This recipe also makes a nice pizza dough.

Fantastic recipe.......I love all kinds of focaccia and this one is tops. I also made mine by hand and it turned out perfect. I didn't have parmesan cheese so I used Asiago and boy was that a good choice. This is a keeper ~ thanks for sharing a great recipe.

Delicious! Easy to make, and smells so good!I'm going to try some variations of this recipe with different herbs and cheeses, can't go wrong! Would be great sliced and used for hot sandwiches!

This turned out wonderful! Added some Asiago cheese on top of everything else which added to the great taste. This will become a household favorite for sure. (Had to add a 1/2T of water in bread maker ~5 minutes in as recipe stated).

I loved this recipe and so did my family! I cheated and used frozen bread(thawed), then did the same as the recipe told me. Really good! I will make this many times over.

This was SO good, and very beautiful too! Simple to make, as well. I don't have a bread machine so I did this by hand. I proofed the yeast first w/warm water (110-115 degrees) and sugar for 10 minutes. Then added the rest of the dough ingredients, using 1 cup of whole wheat flour, and adding 1 tablespoon of vital wheat gluten. I turned my oven to 400 for 1 minute and turned it off; then put the dough in there to rise (after kneading for 8 minutes). It rose beautifully. I only had one onion, but it was enough. It didn't really carmelize in the time stated, and I ran out of time (babies needed my attention) but it was good still. Next time, I would add the garlic halfway through- some of mine burned and became a little bitter. I was impressed with myself upon seeing how pretty this was! :) Tasted great too. Ate this with Corn and Cheddar Chowder. Great recipe!!
