I tripled this recipe for my church teen youth group and they came back for seconds! Great recipe and easy when you have to feed lots of teenagers! Thanks for this recipe.

WHOA! I was surprised. This was a hit at dinner even with my teenage son who doesn't like kielbasa. I was hoping it would be a fave because it is SO simple. I omitted the peas only because my daughter. I also used cream of celery soup because I didn't have cream of mushroom so you could use any creamed soup. You could easily adjust this dish to add hamburger, ham, turkey, whatever kind of meat you have on hand. I made the mixture in a bowl and set it in the refridge ahead of time, the night before, and then all you have to do when you get home from work is pour it in a dish and bake! FINALLY a winner with my family.

when you make this, read the directions several times. i found them confusing. it calls for enough ingredients for 2 casseroles, but the directions say 'use 1/4 of...' but it was hard to tell if they meant 1/4 of the entire ingredient or, because it's a double recipe, 1/8th. the flavor was really good though. be sure to cook the pasta on the 'very' al dente side as the whole dish is baked for 30 minutes

I made this today and it came out great! I am going to give away the other casserole and bless someone! I spiced mine up a little with salt, pepper, crushed red peppers and italian seasoning which someone below suggested.

Easy & Delicious. Family loved this one and it makes enough for another meal. All I did was freeze the extra dish and took it out for another night. This is one of my families favorites!

This recipe was excellent! Zucchini is in from the garden, and I had the kielbasa on hand. A local kielbasa, very smokey, but the best! We followed the recipe, but I did add salt, pepper, crushed red pepper and Italian seasoning. Hubby couldn't stop commenting on how good it was. Likes it as much as lasagna. We made it in a big corning ware baking dish, so 2 weren't made, but I have two adult sons ( 19 & 20) still living at home who ususally raid the refrigerator with friends when they are here, so there will even still be enough for leftovers tomorrow. Definately a keeper, and will make it for the next pot luck dinner invited to.

This is AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! I made half the recipe, and made the following slight tweaks: I didn't have any fresh garlic, so I just used a bit of powdered, and a garlic herb spaghetti sauce. I also skipped the stewed tomatoes, adding a bit more than recommended of the sauce. I am sure the layering is lovely, but I was in a hurry. I tossed the sauce with the pasta, and covered the bottom of my dish, then put all of my cottage (in lieu of ricotta) cheese, followed by half of the shredded cheeses. I covered with the rest of the pasta, and topped with the remaining shredded cheeses. Oh. My. Goodness! This is SO tasty! I am going back to get seconds!
