I had some problems with this recipe, I will try it again but make some changes. My hash browns were not cooked through by the time the top was brown and the sides were bubbling. It was very hard to mix up frozen hash browns and shredded cheese in a bowl, (was I doing something wrong?) once the cheese became cold it just formed a big ball, that I had to break apart with my fingers and try to spread out. Also, the Parmesan cheese gave it a "funkie" taste, per my roommate. (too much?).
I gave it a 3 stars instead of a 2 stars because despite the parmesan cheese taste I did like the flavor and would try it again but I might thaw my hash browns for a bit before mixing, add more cheddar and leave off the Parmesan. I also think it would be improved with pepper and onions.
