Super delicious, a cheese lovers dream. I did not alter the recipe at all and it was perfect. I made a batch and it fed me for a whole week!

I used brown rice and low fat sour cream to make this a little healthier. I also added a can of corn just because I felt like it; so it is hard to rate this recipe. First of all it made way more then I needed. We have been trying to eat it for days. Secondly, it smells funny. It tastes good but smells weird. I will have to try it again when I get my Hatch Green Chili supply and use white rice and regular sour cream for a treat.

I've been making this dish for years. The entire family loves it! Add bite-sized, boneless/skinless cooked chicken breasts to the layers to make this a main dish. I've also incorporated garlic powder to the top after it comes out of the oven. Delicious!

I replaced the onions with green onions and added 2-3 tablespoons of curry powder. HUGE hit! Also, I recommend using whole chilies, removing the seeds and cutting them up yourself. The seeds are very hard and can ruin a good recipe. It's easier to remove the seeds from the whole chilies.

This recipe was very easy, but there was no flavor at all. It was not horrible, but I would not make it again.

Wonderful pot luck dish. I add a litlle garlic poder and some cajun seasoning to up the spicyness. Try adding some chopped cooked chicken for a nice main dish.

Very Good! I forgot the Cottage Cheese so it was a bit dry but still a hit! We even ate it for breakfast as left overs!

Made this for a large party last night. It was a hit! Many asked for the recipe. I have fixed this recipe before a number of times and always had great comments. While I made 4 times the original recipe amount (to serve 24+) I still added an additional probably 2 more cans of green chilis on top of what it called for. Even used some hatch chilis(a bit hot)for a subtle bite! I think some more salt and pepper added to the sour cream prior to mixing would spiff up the flavor--just for our taste...otherwise this recipe stands on its own. Very good dish!!!

This is a fabulously easy and delicious dish. I usually adapt to a healthier version by using brown rice, low fat sour cream and cottage cheese.....even healthy tastes rich and decadent. Here in far west Texas and New Mexico we freeze our own roasted chili green chilis and they add a really authentic taste to this dish.

I didn't have chiles, so used 1 can of chopped jalapenos instead. Tasty, but a little plain. Served it on tortillas with salsa and avocado.

This is very tasty! I did make the mistake of making an extra cup of rice for this. I tried to follow exactly. I did find that the extra sharp cheddar I used in the middle layer basically disappeared. I think I cooked it too long. Anyway, I loved the taste of this and might use another can of chili's in the future. I will definitely make this again! Great recipe!
