Delicious and cheesy!! I adapted it some. I used mixed veggies (broccoli, cauliflower and carrots) and steamed those first until done. I used 1 c. of chicken bouillon that I added after all 4 c. of shredded cheese were melted. It was so good the kids were asking for more!!

My boyfriend loves broccoli cheese soup. I made this recipe tonight and we both loved it. I doubled everything but the cheese and it still had quite enough cheese for our taste. Thank you for a great recipe :)

I have made this recipe multiple times and it turns out great each time! I have made it in the crock pot and on the stove! I usually add extra broccoli just because I like it to be really chunky with a lot of broccoli. But it is perfect just the way the recipe stands!

Ok. I'm perfectly willing to admit that I might have screwed something up on this recipe. My daughter was more than distracting while I was trying to make it and I used dried minced onions as I didn't have any onions on hand. I currently have a stomach ache, my 2 year old daughter wouldn't touch it, and she loves broccoli, and my wife was making faces as she ate...all things that don't happen often. So, it'll take some convincing and researching for us to try this one again...

This soup was really good! Cheesy Broccoli Soup is my favorite and I had been looking for a good recipe for awhile! I only have a couple suggestions. First, I used onion flakes as a substitute for the onion. They added great onion flavor and weren't chunky. Also, I'd suggest adding in a bit more liquid at the end so the soup isn't SO cheesy. Also, cutting back a bit on the cheese would probably help that

I have made this recipe numerous times and my nephew asks for it each Christmas as a gift. I make it for employees at work and they think it is the best. I do follow one reviewers suggestion by cutting the Velveeta and add Cheddar Cheese. It is fabulous.

EXCELLENT! My kids LOVED IT! I was a little worried at first that with even doubling the ingredients, that there wasn't a lot of soup. But once I added the broccoli, there was plenty to go around and have leftovers!!!

This was really good! Very cheesy. Next time I may grate the onions so they won't be so chunky and switch to light Velveeta and maybe leave out or reduce the butter to save on fat and calories. This was a hit with my family!
