We ate this meatloaf right up. I did add worchestershire and a dash of liquid smoke instead of salt and pepper. I mixed one cup of extra sharp cheddar into the meat mixture along with some diced onion and minced garlic. I topped it off with a slice of cheese right before it came out of the oven for good presentation and it turned out beautifully. Next time I might glaze it with a ketchup/ mustard mixture.

My family told me this meatloaf was good but......they miss my regular meatloaf. I agree, this meatloaf is good, and a nice change of pace, but there are much tastier recipes for meatloaf out there. But, this is what it is, a cheesburger meatloaf. And if a cheesburger tasting meatloaf is what you want, then this one fits the bill!

This is a great recipe! I only gave it 4 stars because I found the "jelly-roll" effect to be more trouble than it was worth. Instead, I just half the meat mixture and make a channel for the cheese down the center and then top with the remaining meat mixture. It is much more simple and it isn't as messy! Tastes fantastic as is or is easy to jazz up too!

I made this for my family (husband is Mr. Meat & Potato), and they loved it! I used oats instead of the bread crumbs and drizzled ketchup over the top of the meatloaf during the last 20-30 minutes to make a crust. My 5 yr. old daughter who is "Miss Picky" acutally asked me for a 2nd helping!

When I finally decided to make this dish. I didn't have much time. So instead of making a 'roll' out of the meat, I just put half the meat into my loaf pan, added the cheese on top, then uased the rest of the meat on top. My husband ate nearly the whole pan by himself!!

This is an awesome meatloaf - and this is from someone that HATES meatloaf! I love that the recipe is so flexible. Have made it several different ways - loaded bacon cheeseburger, mushroom and swiss, pepperjack ranch, just to name a few. Thanks for a great recipe that my whole family enjoys!

This recipe is one of the best that I've tried. I've made my meatloaf for years out of ground beef (85lean-15fat), ground veal and ground pork...pretty much equal parts of each, and that was not changed. The only changes I made to this recipe was to use Quaker Oats instead of bread crumbs and used colby-jack cheese, because that's what I had on hand. And I made a glaze which I topped the meatloaf out of ketchup, mustard, brown sugar and steak sauce. This meatloaf came out very juicy and flavorfull. I'll make this again.....

I wasn't sure how this was gonna come out. I'm used to making my moms meatloaf. This was really easy and yummy. I liked that it looks like a jelly roll. I drizzled some ketchup on top, that's what I do with meatloaf. And this is the quickest my son's ate meat in awhile.

Husband loved this receipe. Said "it did what it was supposed to do perfectly." I added worcestershire sauce in the burger mix. I also coated the top of the meatloaf with a barbeque, catsup, mustard mix. I'm not a big fan of meatloaf but this was very tasty.

My husband and I love this recipe! I tweek it everytime I make it. I currently fry up about 1/2 an onion and some bacon and mix that in with the meat. I also put a ketchup/mustard mixture on top before going in the oven. I wasn't a big fan of meatloaf before I found this recipe, now I make it once every couple of weeks!

This was just okay. I liked it more than my husband did. Seemed like it just needed something else. I may make it again but try it with barbeque sauce on top or something to liven it up. Also, I used ground turkey instead of ground beef since it is leaner and this is already a high-fat dish.

Overall the result is ok but I feel it's too salty may be next time I'll use mozarella instead of cheddar.
