Mmmmm.... Health Food. Grease the cookie sheet with butter, then mix onion, cheese, & bacon with softened butter. You might need to add a little more, but it helps the ingredients stick together when pressed into a spoon, then placed on potatoes.

Great recipe! To save a little time I melted the butter in the microwave then tossed the potatoes, butter s&p and a little garlic powder in a ziplock bag. Delish, thanks Michele!

These didn't even make it to the table! I scarfed them straight out of the oven! I'll have to make them again to see what anyone else thinks!

These were the simple and delicious snack i was looking for. I took the advice of another user and tossed the potatoes in the butter rather than brush each slice. Much easier. Next time I'll add some garlic and pepper into the butter too.

How could you not love these. They were much easier than potato skins. I used large potatoes and they were gone in an instant. Yum.

I followed the suggestion to slice and fry one potato in a skillet, add the toppings and continue to cook covered until the cheese melts. Such a tasty and complete meal for one served with a side of applesauce! This recipe will be a repeat in my kitchen.

These were good! They were done in time and not too done. I was careful to cut them about 1/2 inch thick as the recipe suggested. I dipped them in butter and used seasoned salt and pepper on them. I also used minced green and white onion and topped with sour cream.:-) These were great for a different kind of side item to go with our BBQ.:-) I was tired of fries and tater tots!

Reading reviews is always a must. I melted the butter and dipped potato rounds in it and used real bacon pieces instead of frying bacon slices. I also had to bake the rounds quite a bit longer. Serving with ranch or sour cream is highly suggested!

This recipe is good, but the potatoes have to be baked for WAY longer than the recipe states. I had to bake the potatoes for 50 minutes before I added the bacon and potatoes (after which I baked again for 15 minutes).

Great idea. I just think that next time I will cook the potato a bit more before I top them.
