"Tasty hamburger snacks made with processed cheese sauce and ground beef on slices of cocktail rye. They are easy to make, and perfect to munch on during the game."

INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar processed cheese sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 16 ounces cocktail rye bread

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat the broiler.
  2. Place ground beef in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain and crumble.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix together the beef, processed cheese sauce, salt and pepper. Spread the mixture on the slices of cocktail rye.
  4. Place the slices on a large baking sheet, and broil 5 minutes, or until the cheese sauce is melted.
