This sauce is easy to make but I found it more flour-y than cheese-y. And it made a lot! I'll use the rest tomorrow night but I'm adding more cheese and next time, I'll be sure to use extra sharp for more flavor.

The recipe for the cheese sauce is perfect!! I was looking for one to put on my broccoli, and this was exactly what I wanted. If anyone is looking for an easy cheese sauch to pour over ANYTHING this is it!

Sauce was very good - I tasted it with 1.5 cups of cheddar and it wasn't quite flavorful enough so I added an extra half cup of cheese and it was just right. However, I steamed one head of cauliflower and ended up with LOTS of leftover sauce - so I'll cut back on everything in the future. The paprika and parsley were the perfect touch.

This is exactly what I was looking for! We wanted to do "Thanksgiving in March" for dinner and my boyfriends mother always serves this dish on actual Thanksgiving. I tasted the sauce and found it too bland, so I added salt and garlic powder, which fixed the problem. I also used 2 cups of cheddar to make it cheesier. I will use this recipe again and again!

An excellent recipe for cheese sauce. This could be great with other vegetables as well. We cut the cauliflower and steamed it rather than boil it as we prefer steamed vegetables. It was wonderful.

Very good, very tasty. I just made the sauce to put over broccoli. I used two cups cheddar and it was thick and yummy. You can really change up the sauce depending on what you want to have it go with. It would make a good mexican dip without the thyme, but adding cayenne, onion and tomatoes and black beans. Very fine recipe.

Fantasic. I made this for my husband, and he was afraid (he had never had a cheese sauce over veggies before!). But he LOVED it. I didnt pour it over a whole cooked cauliflower, just cooked bunches but I everything else was the same.
