Cheese Ball - Easy

"This is the easiest and best cheese ball. Don't be scared by the horseradish! I don't like it, but it tastes great in this recipe."

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cooked corned beef
  • 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, corned beef and horseradish using your hands. Form into a ball, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for several hours or overnight for best flavor. Serve with crackers.

So easy and so good! We love the horseradish so I add a little more. Best to make a few hours early or let sit overnight.

This is a recipe my mother made back in the 70's. A true classic. You can either make it into one large ball and serve with crackers, or you can make them into smaller individual bite-size appetizers. No crackers needed with the smaller ones! I always use more horseradish than the recipe calls for but that is just what my family prefers!

This is pretty good. I added some garlic powder and green onions after a taste test.
