So...I HATE being that person that changes the recipe and then rates it. May the AR gods strike me down, for I have sinned. That having been said, I had jarred spaghetti sauce and that's what I used for the sauce portion of this recipe. It turned out really good! VERY filling meal. Thanks so much for the idea...and the biscuit portion was divine.

I was nervous about this recipe at first, especially because my husband and I are big eaters, but it was delicious and really filling, which says a lot coming from my husband and I. This was the only thing we ate for dinner and we loved it, which is also big because we love meat. The dumplings and the tomato sauce complimented each other so well!

I will make again! Could use a bit more seasoning though, the first time I made this it came out bland. So I added more cheese and used a can of fire rosted tomatos to add a smoky flavor. I also added carrots. This is becomming a family classic!

This recipe is perfect the way it is. I love tomatoes and added just a few stewed tomatoes to go along with the diced tomatoes. A great recipe for any season.

I made these exactly by the recipe, except I put half tomatoes, half rotel. Which made the dish pretty spicy. Overall, it is a very filling hearty, comfort. I will make this again and again.
