Followed advice of others to add milk to the soup then to layer soup, cheese and potatoes. This was a bit bland for my taste. May try again later with additional seasonings.

This was very delish. My husband who is a big cheese fan even said that this would still be Great with less cheese or none. I did make 2 changes. Based on some reviews i added about 1/2 cup milk to the cream of mushroom and i also added ground turkey to make it a meal instead of a side dish. I browned the turkey half way and added it to the cream of mushroom mix. I also based on reviews, i put one layer of potatoes and added some cheese and the turkey/cream of mushroom mix and then added the rest of the potatoes and cheese and cream of mushroom. Will definately make again. This is a very versitile dish.

This was a nice dish that the family enjoyed. I mixed the potato slices with the cheese and soup. I topped the dish off with cheese and paprika after removing the cover for the final stage. I think I will try it with a cream of chicken soup next time for my mushroom hating daughter. Thanks!

Simple and delicious, but I added about 1/4 cup of milk to thin out the condensed soup, making it easier to spread over the layers of potato and cheese. Cheddar is good in the recipe, but for variety, you may want to try other sharp cheeses, like Parmesean or Asiago.

I thought this was pretty good! I read the other reviews about the soup not making it to the bottom layer of potatoes, so I layered the casserole. I put half the sliced potatoes, half the soup then the rest of the potatoes then the rest of the soup. This way the soup was evenly distributed throughout the dish, and there were no "dry spots" and I didn't have to use more soup. I'll probably make this again.

This was very good and easy to make. But, I agree with what a previous person said about adding a half a can more of the soup. It could have used it. The top part was moist with the soup but once you scoop out the first few servings the bottom is just potatoe. I will definetly make again with this adjustment. My husband loved it.

Very simple but tasty recipe. I had to use an additional half can of soup and I pre-cooked the potatoes in the microwave for 10:00 minutes. My family says it is a keeper!
