These were really good. We did have to add about one TBS of milk. I loved the flavor from the bacon and cheese. Nice alternative to regular mashed potatoes, especially when you don't have any gravy to top them with.

This is a good potato recipe for when I don't have gravy to go on top. Add some milk, it was thick.

Adding more bacon and cheese than called for makes this dissapear at potlucks. I use 8-12 strips of bacon and a cup of cheddar on top, as well as mix another cup of cheddar into the potatoes. And it is AMAZING!

Very Good! I like the taste that the sour cream gives to the potatoes. My husband and I made these together (it was a combined effort!) Did it exactly except used a tad more bacon and green onions in place of chives.

Very good dish. I might would add some milk to the potatoes next time (personal preference only). Leftovers are great as well, so make up a whole big batch at once and save some for the next night or lunch or a midnight snack. Thanks for sharing this one.

I made these with the anniversary chicken from this site along with fresh veggies and the meal was great. I substituted the chives with green onions since I was already using them with the chicken.

Unsurprisingly, this ended up tasting like a smothered baked potato. Not very healthy, but certainly fantastic. I probably will only make it as a special treat, but it was delicious!

This tastes like a huge pot of 2x baked potatoes. Without a ton of work, this is super simple, but packed with flavour, and not your typical mashed taters, which I love. I make all my potatoes like this now, and no one has gotten sick of them, they are still as much a treat as the first time! Thank you!

This was my first time EVER making mashed potatoes and they turned out pretty well! I used this recipe as a guide, making a smaller portion and using healthier alternatives. I used 5 small potatoes, approx. 3 tbsp. light sour cream, about 1-2 tbsp. butter substitute, some fresh pepper, and added 1/4 tsp. of garlic salt. I sprinkled a little shredded cheddar (made with 2% milk) on top before baking. Did not use chives or bacon and the potatoes still turned out very yummy! Next time I will add a little milk though. Thanks for sharing this recipe! :)

Thought these were great. My only problem was they weren't hot enough. Next time I'll bake for 20 minutes, then add the cheese and bacon and continue baking for an additional 10-20 minutes. A big hit with everyone, and great to make ahead of time.
