Canned green beans work just as well, by sauteeing your onions and garlic, then adding one can of drained whole cut green beans (layered over the onion and garlic) lowering the heat to simmer and covering for 3-5 minutes, then stirring a few times with the flame slightly higher to ensure thoroughly heated beans. Yum!

Very good but I modified. Sauteed onions, garlic and mushrooms. Added cooked frozen green beans and topped with crispy fried onions. Yummy!

Wow! These were really good! I used fresh green beans, just sauted them in the pan with the onion and garlic. I also added in the cheddar cheese to the beans while they were still in the pan. Yummy! : )

These were delicious. I used whole thin green beans, didn't precook, I just sauteed them with the garlic/onion until they were tender/crisp. This was a hit with the family. Thanks!

I loved these green beans! I wish I would of snapped a picture of it tonight, but we ate them all so fast. The only thing I did different was added an extra two tablespoons of butter, and an extra clove of garlic. Also instead of just serving it with the cheese on top, I put some shredded cheese in the pan with the green beans and melted it in with them, tasted delicious.
