INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups uncooked spiral pasta
1/2 cup mayonnaise*
1/3 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
2 cups frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
1 1/2 cups cubed cooked chicken
1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese, divided

DIRECTIONS
Cook noodles according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, milk, salt and basil. Stir in the vegetables, chicken and 1 cup cheese. Drain pasta; stir into vegetable mixture. Transfer to a greased 1-1/2-qt. microwave-safe dish. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Cover and microwave on high for 5-6 minutes or until heated through and the cheese is melted. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
FOOTNOTES
Reduced-fat or fat-free mayonnaise is not recommended for this recipe.
This recipe was tested with an 850-watt microwave.

I was pleased with this dish. I hadn't planned on subbing sour cream with the mayo, but had to when the jar *mysteriously* turned up empty, and really liked the creamy cheese sauce it made. For frozen veggies I used a bag mix of carrots, corn, and asparagus - loved the asparagus, I'll use just that next time. I also baked this for 30 mins, covered, in a 350 degree oven - microwaving vegetables has been proven to zap most of their nutritional value. Thanks for sharing :)

This is a great recipe....my 13 y/o son and I loved it! Very quick and easy to make. I used steamed broccoli instead of the frozen vegetables. Definitely a keeper.

I kept eating only because I wanted to see if the mayonaisse taste would eventually go away. It didn't. I think mixing it with sour cream instead of mayo would make it tastier!

YUM! I just returned from a trip out of town and I needed something fast and with few ingredients for dinner. This dish was perfect. I didn't have any mayo, so I substituted plain yogurt. Also, I only had 1 cup of chicken, so I made up for it with veggies by using 1 1/2 cups of frozen broccoli and 1 cup of bagged sliced carrots (which I quickly steamed in the microwave.) I mixed it all up and baked it at 350 until the cheese melted. The seasonings are perfect in this dish. It reminds me of a great ranch flavor. Thanks for sharing this recipe! I will make this again with your exact ingredients when my pantry is replenished.

Found this dish when I was looking for something fast to whip up using leftover chicken. I had everything in the cupboard so this was great. We enjoyed this dish and it made enough for leftovers since it is only my husband and I. Perfect blend of seasoning.
