WOW! I followed the directions exactly except for putting the cornflakes on the bottom, instead I put them all on top. Phenomenal!

Good base recipe, but I personally didn't care for the cream of celery soup in there. I didn't think I'd be able to taste it, but it was pretty strong. Next time I will use cream of chicken or mushroom. I also used the packaged coleslaw mix (preshredded cabbage and carrots) and it was perfect for this. I did find it to be a little runny, so next time I'll add some grated parmesan or maybe more cornflakes. But overall it was a winner, my 2 year old even loved it :)

This was a hit at our house. I doubled the recipe and added a can of creamed chicken soup along with broccoli and carrots. My kids LOVED it and keep asking me to make it again. It is very simple to make and tastes delicious.

This was an awesome dish. 3 out of 4 of us liked it and the 4th kinda liked it, she said the cheese was the best and asked for more cheese. Would definately make this again, and will be for the potluck after soccer season. The one thing I plan to add the next time is bacon pieces. I like all in one meals and I think this would be excellent with the bacon in it. Thanks for sharing the recipe with us. Amy Delta Junction, AK

Absolutely WONDERFUL. I don't even LIKE cabbage - I made this for my husband who does - and I loved this dish. The only change I made was to add some cooked Polish Sausage under the cheese layer to make it a one dish meal.

I made this for my family as a side dish with Sunday dinner. I read the reviews that suggested adding sausage or some other kind of meat, but this dish is SO fattening and rich that I could never serve it as the main entree in any meal. As a side dish, this casserole was amazing, and we WILL make this again. This first go-round, I made it exactly as specified in the recipe. Next time, I will use light mayo, reduced-fat cheese, and light butter/margerine. The calories and fat in this are just prohibitive, but the flavor is to die for. If you serve this in small helpings as a side, it is perfect.

The flavour was quite nice but I don't know that I would make it again, it was a bit 'sloppy' for our liking. It's good to try new ideas though. Thanks for sharing.

This was actually pretty good. I added some italian seasoning and some italian season salt. It was runnier than I thought it would be, buy still quite tasty.

Like some of the others was a little surprised that this was fantastic. Thank you for sharing this recipe. My husband, sister and I loved it. I used the previous reviews and made it and Gunness corned beef. I made cornbread with the meal and everything just went together so well. It is a keeper for sure. I think the ones that didnt love it must not of followed the directions.

Most of the family liked it. My youngest wasn't fond of it, but she doesn't go for "slop" ;) The only thing I did different is used colby jack because that is our favorite kind of cheese. Next time I will probably at least add some garlic powder to it.

This got the thumbs up at our dinner table. I got impatient with measuring the cabbage, so I just shredded an entire one and used it and it came out fine.

I made this and the Guinness Corned Beef for a group of people for St.Patty's Day. No one had ever eaten anything like it nor were they sure about it. Well, they all loved both dishes and kept telling me so throughout the meal. My only change was since I had no mayo I used sour cream and miracle whip instead.

The taste of this casserole is surprising--I guess it's the mayonnaise, and it doesn't taste strongly of cabbage. I added 1/2 lb. of browned sausage to make it a meal, and we both really enjoyed it. I took other reviewer's advice and put all the cornflakes on the top. This is good for something different.
