I made this last night; doubled the recipie because I love cabbage, and I really enjoyed it. I'm sure the leftovers will be just as delicious. Out of conscience, though, I will find a way to make it with less fat content. (Butter and Mayo). My twin sister cooked it the same night I did, but used sour cream and included polish sausage in hers. This is a keeper!

This was super good and hardy! We cooked some Jimmy Dean Sausage in "Garlic Garne" from Garlic Festival and added it as a layer. It made the dish a full meal and added a nice flavor! I would definatley make again and have already reccomended this recipe to friends! Thank You!

everyone in my family LOVED this! it was so delicious despite the unexpected combinations! i didn't have corn flakes so i actually used Corn Chex and it was awesome - that is a substitution i plan to keep. i also reduced the butter and found it didn't affect the taste. a definite keeper.....

So delicious! I made it the second time and added grilled wursts as a layer, really good! A favorite to keep always.

This is SO good!!! I made the recipe exactly as written but with only a cup less of cornflakes because I had ran out so I sprinkles about 1/4c of italian bread crumbs on top too. I omited the melted butter and used my spray butter instead which is much healthier! I read other reviews where they added some sausage to the mix to make a complete meal and I'm going to do that next time. This was delicious!

This is a great recipe with only a few slight changes. I skip the butter and put all the cornflakes on top. I sub the mayo for sour cream. I use cream of mushroom soup, and I put in 2 cups of cut up breakfast sausage with 1/2 a cup of onion and 2 grated carrots. Everyone in our family cleans this up!! I have also used cheddar and monterey jack as well as cheddar and havarti on top. REALLY YUMMY!

This had a very tasty flavor. I will make this again, but will decrease the amount of butter due to it being a bit too greasy.

This is delicious! I halved the amount of mayo and put some green onions in instead of onions (since I ran out). Also, used cream of mushroom soup. Turned out great!

Awesome! I substituted saltines for corn flakes because I didn't have any and it was fabulous. Don't tell your kids it cabbage and they won't have any idea.

Very good casserole. I got rave reviews from my family, even from the ones who say they don't like cabbage.

This was DELICIOUS! I was curious as to how the mayonaise would make it taste, but you cannot taste it. I didn't precook my cabbage, I chopped it up and instead of putting everything on top, I layered it in between the cabbage. Instead of mixing the milk in, I poured condensed milk in around the cabbage before baking it and it still turned out great. I used bread crumbs mixed with butter which was wonderful as well! thank you for sharing this recipe! It's one of the best cabbage recipes I've had in a very long time.

I'm really not sure what to say about this. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't excellent either. I followed the recipe exactly. It was acceptable. I would much rather have steamed, boiled, or sauteed cabbage. Probably won't make it again.

YUM! I used 6 cups of cabbage and wouldn't use any less as it cooks down a lot. I added one shredded carrot and sliced the onions thin instead of chopping. I forgot to mix the cornflakes with butter, so I drizzled the butter on top of everything at the end and it worked fine (I added some more cheese on top though). I also put all cornflakes on top as suggested by other people. I would DEFINITELY make this again. Everyone loved it, even non-cabbage eaters. PERFECT for my St. Patty's potluck!

The recipe tasted good. But with everything put over the cabbage, the taste of the cabbage was lost. It's a meal within itself-very heavy for cabbage. My family likede it, but they wouldnt want it put on the table once a week. Great originality but not a favorite. Perhaps leave out the cabbage and add potatoes.

I was skeptical of this recipe but was determined to try it because of the great reviews, I am glad I did. I did use crushed Ritz for the top instead of corn flakes and after reading a few reviews used cream of mushroom instead of cream of celery. Next time I would like to try with kielbasa as some other reviews did.
