Awesome recipe! I followed exactly except I added a bit more cheese and extra parsley. Thanks for a great duplicate to RL's biscuits!!

Won the bread portion of our chili-cook off. Followed others' advice and added some spices to the batter as well. Tasty!

I made these for dinner tonight and they came out pretty well. I score them a 4-star because I made a few modifications that others had suggested. I made the batter with milk instead of water and I added parsley, garlic salt and old bay seasoning to the batter and increased my cheddar cheese by a handful. I plan on making these again soon. Thanks for sharing.

Boy was "I" disappointed after reading the reviews. I made them per recipe and thought they were horrible. My husband who is very kind, didn't even finish one biscuit. Will NOT EVER make these again.

I prepared these according to the recipe and they were average. They were rather bland. (Side note: I did use low-fat Bisquick.) It made 13 good-sized biscuits. In the second half of the batch, I added a little salt and garlic powder to the dough, and they tasted much better. With the modification, I'd give them 4.5 stars. Next time, I plan on trying milk instead of water and maybe adding a little butter to the dough.

1st time I tried this recipe I used parchment paper... first of all I almost burnt my house down, second of all, we didn't get to eat the biscuits that night because they were covered in parchment paper on the bottom. The second time I just greased the pan... MUCH BETTER!!! they turned out SOOOOO good!

I am giving this recipe 4 stars because it took a lot of the suggested modifications to make these biscuits really good. Had I followed this recipe exactly I don't think I would have liked them very much.

Oh wow, these were good! I used a lot more cheese, added a little Old Bay, and brushed the butter mixture on the biscuits before and after baking. The only trouble I had was working with the dough ... it was incredibly sticky, but soooooooooooo worth it! Served them with Christmas Eve Beef Stew (which was also fantastic!), and everyone loved them!

Yummy. I do put some garlic powder and onion powder in with the dry ingredients. I like to use the very finely shredded Cheddar in these.

I use milk instead of water and about 1 cup cheese. And they seem to turn out better if I use the garlic with the parsley already in it.

These taste just like the biscuits a very popular seafood restaurant makes! What makes these so good is the garlic butter sauce.

This was such an easy recipe to follow and the biscuits tasted exactly like the ones at "that seafood restaurant". Next time I will make enough so everyone can have 2 or 3. I have also found that using a muffin pan gives me evenly sized biscuits; just give each cup a quick shot of cooking spray and the finished biscuits come right out.

I rated this four only because I made a few modifications. I added the seasonings to the mix as well as 1/4 cup melted butter. Then I used the recipe original butter and spice mix for on top... not the healthiest, but so delicious.

These are great! Just what I was looking for! My husband liked these better than the ones they serve at R.L. I, too, used milk instead of water, used more cheese (personal preference), and added the seasonings to the Bisquick as recommended by others. I used my medium sized Pampered Chef cookie scoop and got 29 biscuits. The biscuits were great even a few days later. I can't keep my oldest son out of them!
