This is awesome! I followed the recipe exactly and it came out great! Thanks so much for sharing this one, I'm happy I don't have to go to the restaurant when I'm craving them and they are so easy to make!

I made these with reduced fat Bisquick and 1% cheddar cheese. I used light margarine and they really didn't brown correctly. I wish I'd read the last review and brushed them after 12 minutes and then baked them for about 5 more. I halved the recipe and it made 9 large biscuits. I'd try them again with a dash of Old Bay in the dough and in the butter mixture. Again, this just may be one of those recipes that doesn't convert well to low fat. Thanks for the recipe.

These were quick, easy and tasted great. Baked until firm but not brown yet, removed biscuits from the oven and brushed the butter/seasoning mixture on top then returned the biscuits to the oven to brown. I also made corn on the cobb for dinner and used the left over melted butter/seasoning to coat the corn after boiling - WOW! made the corn out of this world!

I had to make a couple minor changes because of what I didn't have available - I baked on a silicone baking sheet on top of my cookie sheet (didn't have parchment paper) and I replaced the onion powder with Tastefully Simple's "Onion Onion" seasoning (didn't have onion powder). Otherwise I followed recipe exactly and really, really like these!! So quick and easy and super tasty, the way that butter blend soaks into the crusty top of the biscuits is AWESOME! I do think next time I'll add a little seasoning to the biscuit dough too, before baking to give it a little extra flavor, but I really like these as they are!

This was amazing! I added more cheese (like some reviewer had suggested) and used fresh parsley (since I already had some chopped up). I also think the key to this recipe is to flavor the batter more. Somebody recommended to add some garlic, onion, and parsley to the batter in addition to adding it to the melted butter. It really helped to make the biscuits that much more incredible. Thank you SO much for this recipe (and the reviews) as these have always been my favorite biscuits and can now be made at home. :)

I thought they were very good. I seasoned the biscuit mix with the same seasonings for the butter, plus I added a 1/4 tsp of Old Bay to each. Oh, and used sharp cheddar cheese(double the amount). I think maybe the original submitter's intentions were to season the biscuits, too, because the description under the recipe when you search for it says, "the additions of cheddar cheese, garlic, parsley, onion, and water" is the trick to turning bisquick into Cheddar Bay Biscuits.

I didn't get the "wow" factor with these that so many other people seemed to get. I thought the seasonings needed to be kicked up a notch to taste like the ones from Red Lobster. If I didn't know they were supposed to taste like the ones from Red Lobster, I never would have made the comparison. I used homemade baking mix since I didn't have any store-bought.

Made them for my boyfriend who loves the RL ones. He said they were delicious, even though they didn't seem quite like the restaurant's originals.

They are very close to the same as Red Lobster, not quite but as close as I could get. So tasty. Make sure you do the melted butter on top it makes them even better!

I made these for a dinner party. The others liked them. As for me..I was a little disappointed in how not-so flaky they were. It could of been my fault down the line some where...as I am not the greatest cook. But these got a 3 star from me.

these are great! i put in nearly an entire pound of chopped up crisped bacon and doubled the cheese. upon another tip, i brushed with the butter mix 3 minutes before they were to be done and continued baking. that made them melt in your mouth divine!
