These were just OK. My sweets-loving hubby is eating them, but without much enthusiasm. I wasn't sure what to expect with these. They are quick to whip together, but I probably won't make these again.

Love these bars!! I change the recipe to give it a little more goodness. I use 2 teaspoons of vanilla and I also use milk chocolate chips. I add 1/2 bag of each butterscotch, white, and peanut butter ships. So my topping has more than twice as many chips than the original recipe. They are super sweet, but I cut them into tiny little bars so they last forever. I also have to cook them about 3 to 5 minutes more.

Sorry, no stars......topping was not at all good and I threw the whole batch away. The top layer was like eating condensed milk hardened. definetly wont make again.

Yummy! Really easy to make. I followed the recipe exactly and these came out chewy and chocolatey. A little bit goes a long way the are on the sweeter side.

I was apprehensive about this recipe since there were so many mixed reviews. Since it was the first time I made them, I followed the recipe to the letter and they were fabulous!

I don't think they're too sweet, I just think they lack any real flavor. I thought they sounded too simple and I think I'm right. I won't be making these again.

I make these as a diet treat by using egg substitute, yogurt butter, fat free condensed milk and sugar-substitute brown sugar. They're absolutely amazing! Soft and chewy, yet very decadent. I'm not a fan of nuts in sweets, so I generally leave them out. I make these about once a month, just to have around the house for when that sweet tooth hits.

I made these yesterday, with the only deviation being that I omitted the nuts and added 1/2 cup of butterscotch chips. I didn't like these very much. For me, they were just pure sugar in various forms, and I didn't like the way that tasted. I didn't like the texture of the sweetened condensed milk layer, nor did I like the taste. The shortbread-y layer was all right, but as a whole, I wouldn't make these again.
