Delish! Super easy, I reduced the soy to 1/8 cup. Marinated for about 45 min. The flavor was outstanding & the presentation excellent. And oh that smell coming from the grill! Had the neighbors jealous. Served with Asperagus & Herbed Baby Reds

I've never made cedar planked salmon before but always wanted to try it. This recipe sounded pretty straight forward and I liked that it had fresh ginger and garlic. I ended up using a cedar plank I had left over from a fence project earlier this month. The salmon turned out great a smelled awesome while grilling. My 3 daughters all went for seconds so I think it was a success. I'll definitely make this dish again.

This marinade makes the best cedar planked salmon I have ever had. My 11 year old daughter begs me to make this for her all the time and she is very picky. Make it as is and you won't be dissapointed.

This was the most delicious piece of fish I have ever had. I made this for Mothers Day for my wife with a piece of Cedar I bought from Lowe's. I soaked the Cedar overnight, and I marinated the Salmon for 6 hours (both probably overkill). The smoked caramelized the marinade and sealed in the flavor. Even my kids couldn't get enough. My only regret is that I didn't buy more fish.

Sooo delicious!! My boyfriends brother said he would order this salmon at a restaurant! I skipped the veg oil.. Salmon is fatty and doesn't need it.

Very tasty and very well received by my family of picky eaters ranging from 2 - 17 years old. In fact, once I got my two year old to try it he ate more of it then anyone else. We would make this a lot more often if we could source some reasonably priced cedar planks. When the fish really starts to darken up on the grill, do not worry. Although the meat gets dark it did not burn and it was moist throughout. Enjoy!
