Mouthwatering! I didn't change a thing about the recipe and loved every bite! I served it with mango salsa and jasmine rice, but the salmon was perfect on its own. I rarely eat leftover salmon, but this was good enough to re-heat for lunch the next day! Thanks for a keeper!

Used the cedar planks we got at Costco; the marinade for the salmon is awesome. Didn't have green onion on hand, so used finely chopped red onion. It was simple and absolutely the only marinade & method of cooking I will use for salmon, in warm weather that is! Great for company.

I tried this on Red Oak planks and with both Salmon (with skin) and Halibut. Salmon had the most flavor while Halibut had a very delicate texture. Kids liked Salmon better, husband preferred Halibut. Neither Salmon nor Halibut soaked too much of the sauce - the sauce remained more on the outside. The plank didn't omit too much smoky flavor - didn't actually smoke at all on our Webber gas grill

I baked this on top of cedar paper. Other than that, I followed directions. I found this salty and barely edible.

Easy and delicious we used the red onion as suggested by others and did not have the rice vinegar so we used white wine vinegar and it came out just fine

I, of course, added more garlic - chopped, and made it in the oven. It was absolutely delicious, even my picky 11 year old couldn't get enough!

My boyfriend said this was the best piece of fish he's ever had! I soaked the cedar for about 7 hours then oiled one side. I used a 2.5 lb piece of salmon skin side down. I heated the plank and then put the fish on for 20 minutes, then turned off the heat and kept it on the grill for about 5 more minutes before serving.

I made this recipe last night. It was great and very easy to make. Would be great for company. Make marinade ahead, then marinate for an hour, when ready to prepare just takes 20 minutes on plank. I will use this recipe often.

This was absolutely delicious. I marinated the salmon for 3 hours. I made it exactly as the recipe stated. I paired it with a wild green salad with balsamic vinegarette dressing and a mushroom risoto. I served a white "citrusy" (not "sweet")wine. If I could remember what the name of the wine was I would include it, unfortunately I can't remember. :( This dinner was so well received that there was a very little table talk! :) Everyone was stuffing their face and didn't want to take the time to talk. I know they say you can reuse cedar planks but I have not yet been able to do that as mine always catch on fire...even after soaking them overnight!!
