This came out perfect. I had a few flare-ups with the cedar plank but it did not ruin the recipe. Will def make this again.

Delicious recipe! The cedar plank gives the fish just a touch of a smoke flavor and the fish was nice and moist. I used about 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and thought it was plenty. I wouldn't hesitate to serve this to guests!

Fantastic & Simple!! I did this for my husband who is not that crazy about salmon. He said, "it was restaurant quality." Thank you.

It was really good. I also suggest wild rice and asparagus with it. I'll be doing this one again!

Absolutely fabulous. This is one of the best salmon recipes out there. I added some lemon and white wine to the water used to soak the cedar plank. I also had to use dill from a jar.

Absolutely, no doubt-about-it, 5-star recipe all the way! Finally found my untreated cedar plank at Home Depot. Soaked it in water for about 4 hours, laid it on the gas grill for 10 minutes at high heat, placed a beautiful Alaskan Copper River sockeye salmon filet on the plank, with the sauce, on the grill at low heat for 25-30 minutes, and it came out utterly moist and SO tender and delicious! Definitely company-worthy. (I would reduce the salt just EVER so slightly, in the future.) Thanks for the great recipe & clear, simple instructions, Pam!

This recipe is fantastic!!! Didn't change a thing (which is unusual for me). Our whole family loved this dish and can't wait to have it again...even my kids ages 9 and 10! Thank you.

I think it may have just been my fault, but this was not as good as I had hoped. I've never cooked anything on a cedar plank before, so it may have just been me, but it was way too dry for my taste. Perhaps if you just didn't cook it for as long. The sauce, on the other hand was great! I wish I could give it more stars, but this just wasn't that amazing.

Excellent recipe - Restaurant quality, great presentation. Soaked the plank all day, used the ingredients listed to top the salmon (plus extra garlic, and minus the salt and pepper) as well as a thinly sliced lemon across the top (like the picture). I grinded sea salt and fresh pepper on top. Then put the salmon on the plank and placed the plank on the grill. This worked just fine. Cooked for about 25 minutes. Squeezed fresh lemon juice on top before eating. PS - Bought the fresh salmon and planks from Costco. Thanks!

What an amazing recipe. I have not tried this before but I was amazed by the results. I used less salt (1/4 teaspoon) but opted to add the juice from 1/2 lemon to make up for it. I had a lot of sceptics at the dinner table but they all loved it. I was hoping for left-overs but nothing remained. I guess I will have to make it again...soon. Thank you for a great recipe!

This makes the most amazing-tasting salmon my husband and I have ever had. And what a great entree to make for company. The aroma and show on the grill is half the fun.

This deserves more than 5 stars. It is the best fish I have ever had. I will be making this all the time & turning my friends & family on to it. I noticed several reviewers thought it was too salty. I never use salt & it was excellent. Thanks!

Very good! The smokiness really comes through. I didn't use all the salt - just a sprinkle.

The whole family loved it. I don't like salmon that much, I usually have to fight to eat my whole portion. This was easy. My 4 year old said it rocks.

This was my first attempt at plank grilling but it was a great starter recipe. My only complaint is it is way too salty with 2 teaspoons. Next time I'm cutting that in half but otherwise it was excellent.

This recipe is the best salmon I've ever had or made. So easy too! We thought it was too saltly so the next time I used about half of what was called for. I purchased my planks and salmon at Costco. Their frozen skinless fillets were great. I would use 6 fillets for this recipe. My husband loved this!

This can only be described as excellent. My husband, who is not the biggest fan of salmon, said that it was the best he'd ever had. I love salmon and thought the same thing. I am so happy to have found a recipe that we both love...now we can have salmon more often! THANKS!!
