What a great way to spice up pretzels! I always add more cayenne pepper than necessary since my husband is a heat freak. Next time I am going to try making them with unsalted pretzels, because the combination of the ranch seasoning and the pretzels makes these almost unbearably salty unless you're eating them with dip. These pretzels go great with ranch dip or mustard dip.

WOW, these are good! Love pretzels, but have a hard time finding pretzels that are light and crunchy. But this combination of seasoning and baking them crisps them up, and makes them taste great. Added some cheez crackers, but then made 2 batches, one with the cayenne and one without. Both had a nice flavor and texture. Will definitely be making this one regularly. Made the mixing easier to just throw it all in a huge ziploc bag, mixing it around until it was all coated well, and then dumping it on the baking sheet.

I'm going to a party tomorrow and didn't want to go to the grocery store tonight, but luckily I found this recipe consisting of pantry staples. Very quick to prepare and quite tasty; I'll definitely keep this recipe on hand for future last-minute events!

These pretzels are fantastic! My hubby and I like them extra spicy, and I use garlic powder instead of garlic salt because the pretzels are salty enough for us. These are great to have when friends come over.

Yes this is a great snack! I put a little more cayenne & ranch in then called for, and added a box of cheese nips to the doubled pretzels. As another reviewer mentioned the word 'crack' I think I'm going to call this Crack Snack... as it's really hard to quit munching once you start.

Fair warning--these are addicting! I made a double batch and sent the left overs home with my friends so I wouldn't eat anymore. I doubled the cayenne pepper and they had a bite to them, but no one thought they were to spicy though.

I had one of those large bags of pretzels from Costco and was looking for something yummy to do with them. This was the perfect idea! I agree that it is too much oil, but I compensated by just adding more pretzels until I thought it was just right. Ended up having 4 trays of them in the oven. Everyone loved them and have asked me to make more. Thanks for the recipe!

This is a great recipe. I had a friend who made it at work and so I looked for a similar recipe on here and this is it. We add peanuts and rice chex squares as well and it's the best! Thank You!

We call these pretzels "Crack pretzels" because we "crack" up sour dough pretzels to make them and they are as addictive as a drug! :) We double the cayenne and the garlic and we use garlic powder (the Snyder's Sour Dough pretzels have quite enough salt to begin with). No one can ever get enough of these! You can play with the spices, too. A friend of mine added Old Bay Seasoning when they were at the beach crabbing. Delicious!

Good but not what I was expecting as far as texture . They seemed to taste a little stale (but weren't) and not quite as flavorful as I wanted.I think the ranch I used was old and I wonder if that was a contributing factor?
