I included this recipe in the big holiday cookie bake that my sister and I do every year. They were a big hit! A different kind of cookie and they are really pretty (and yummy!)

Messy, but good. The coconut was kind of a mess but they looked really great and differant for Christmas. I will make again and hopefully get better at my rolling technique. hee hee.

These are exactly like the ones my grandmother would make for Christmas. They were a hit with the entire family. You can prepare these ahead of time, and take out of the freezer and slice as needed. It is exciting to me to share a one of my grandmother's signature cookies with our family once again!

My Mema made these every Christmas and I love them. She never used nuts or coconut, so I might try that to see what it's like.

Great cookies- we left out the nuts because certain family members don't like them & they turned out great. Our kids love these because of the marshmallows.

I made these as a new addition to my annual christmas cookie package. The ingredients for these cookies were easy to find. The cookies were very pretty. But the pecans were a little on the expensive side, and there wasn't much flavor other than coconut and chocolate. But, i would make these again because they do look festive. They brighten up any tray.
