I cooked this but changed it a bit. I did pineapple juice instead of apple, can tropical fruit instead, added crushed pineapple, and used apricot preserves. Its what I had in my kitchen. That being said... this was very good. Not overly sweet and really compliments the flavor of the fish. I did let the sauce cook down a bit since I was not using dry fruit.

The fish was flavorless, it didn't taste bad, it didn't taste like anything. And the spiced fruit salsa tasted okay, a little strange, a little like apple sauce, but the fruit and fish together was not good. Although this is definitely a taste that I'm not used to, I don't think I'll be trying it again.
