Very tasty! Used Dijon mustard and ranch dressing when I ran out of mayo. I have also substituted the tuna with drained and mashed garbanzo beans for a meat-free version. Thanks!

First let me say I will NEVER make tuna salad again without adding pesto! It's such a wonderful complimentary flavor! Second, I did tweak it a bit: I added some diced celery and upped the amount of mayo and pesto a bit. I also used my homemade tarragon mustard (1 tsp) which gave it a nice "zing!" I agree with the one reviewer who said the additional garlic wasn't necessary. But if you are a garlic lover, it still tasted very good with the additional garlic. I would probably omit that next time though. But this is one of the best posts I've come across and want to say THANKS!!!

Excellent variation of tuna salad. We omitted the garlic, lettuce & tomato, and used sourdough bread & American cheese. Toasted them in our George Foreman grill, and they were delicious!

The pesto/garlic flavor was too strong.

Really good. Used homemade mayo and trader joes pesto---didn't need the extra garlic.

Really fantastic. This just turned my lazy dinner idea into something really quite delicious. I added sunflower seeds, a little dill relish and some diced cucumber and feta to it. Really tasty.

Sooo easy with lots of room to pesonlize. I put a little red onion in it but it was great to begin with.

I'm going to give this 4 stars because I think with some adjustments, I'll like it better. I think the pesto is great, but I don't think I'll use mustard again. A little bit more mayo instead...maybe some dill? Capers? Also, maybe the extra garlic is a little much (the pesto I used was pretty garlicky itself). I put this on ciabatta rolls, topped it with a slice of Fontina and put it on the panini grill. Husband liked it, so there's another reason to give it 4 stars. Will try again with some tweaks...

I am a big pesto fan and this is wonderful. I thought the mustard would be odd, but it just adds zest. I recommend this highly!

Excellent! We loved this. Added red onion slices and used roasted red peppers instead of tomato. Also left the garlic out as my pesto had plenty in it.
