Original Recipe Yield 4 cups
 

Ingredients

  • 2 cups distilled white vinegar
  • 2/3 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Directions

  1. In a sauce pan, combine vinegar, ketchup, water and sugar. Season with salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper and red pepper flakes. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until sugar is dissolved.
