Just excellent! My boyfriend and I devoured these and he called them "the best part of the meal". They were deliciously sweet and had quite a unique flavor with the cardamom. The only thing I did different was to cut the recipe in half and I used a splash of orange juice in place of the orange zest. I would like to try this with the zest next time. Thanks very much for this one, I'll make these often!

This tastes wonderful! I used orange peel from the spice rack and ground cardamom, replacing the brown sugar with honey. I'll be making this again very soon.

Christmas 2011. Berry yummy. Sweet, but not too sweet. Everyone raved.

This one's a keeper! I didn't measure so I think I may have overdone the orange peel - it almost completely hid the carrot flavor instead of enhancing it. But no matter because the flavor was still fabulous and I will be making this often!

Didn't have cardamom or orange zest, so used Ginger and orange juice. The flavor is incredible. I prepared them in advance and my husband and son keep sneaking tastes. Top rated in my book.

Very, very, very yummy! Almost tastes like an Indian sweet (but not nearly as sweet)

This wasn't a favorite in the house. Neither the children or man liked them. Said they lost the carrot taste. Man said they were good, just nothing he'd want again. Sorry.

I cooked the carrots in the microwave for 3 minutes, then added the butter, brown sugar, and cardamom. No orange peel and I forgot the salt! Then cooked in microwave until carrots were tender. Good flavor, not overpowering, and I didn't even miss the salt. Thanks!
