Caramelized Pork Slices
SUBMITTED BY:
Elisa Lochridge
"'This easy treatment for pork caught my eye when I was paging through a cookbook and saw the word 'caramelized,' Elisa Lochridge recalls from her home in Aloha, Oregon. 'The slightly sweet glaze is yummy. I like to serve this over noodles or rice...or with mashed potatoes.'"

I'm not a big fan of pork tenderloin but when I prepared it this way I couldn't get enough and neither could my husband. It's delicious!! We've also tried the recipe with pork chops, not so good. The only thing I omit is the molasses since I don't have it in my pantry and instead I added a little more brown sugar a tad bit of honey. YUM!

This was awesome!! I didn't have molasses, so I used corn syrup instead. And instead of orange juice, I squeezed a whole fresh orange, which kept it moist when it started to dry up and made a nice glaze. This is an excellent substitute for teriyaki sauce for a pork stir-fry.
