This was an awesome pork dish! Not only is it easy to make, the taste is fabulous! The only thing I might do next time I make this recipe is to make more onions for the top, as several people in my family really love caramelized onions, and there weren't quite enough to go around. Thanks for a simple and yummy recipe!!

We were pleasantly surprised at how simple and delicious this recipe was. I followed the recipe closely, the only difference was that I did season the tenderloin with Lawry's prior to baking for just a little more flavor. The sweetness of the onions are what really make this dish 5 stars. I just wish I would have added more onions to this dish, they were that good! Thanks for offering an easy, but flavorful meal.

Pretty dang good! The wife loved it. I thought it was pretty good, but I feel it could have been better. If you make the carmelized onions how they are described in the recipie they turn out really dry. I served it with potatoes that I thew in the pan along with the meat and onions. I will probably make this again at some point, but when I do I will modifiy how I cook the onions. As is, it's still a pretty solid meal though.

Very simple and very flavorful. The onions really keep the meat moist. Great!

This is so wonderful! We eat pork tenderloin alot and I usually marinate it. This was quicker and easier and was even more flavorful and tender. This will become a regular at our house.

Excellent! I changed the recipe a bit based on our preferences but the original sounds excellent as well. I had boneless pork chops so I cooked them stovetop in the same pan as the onions, putting them in the pan towards the end. After I removed the pork and onions from the pan, I deglazed with a bit of apple juice and butter and poured directly over the onion smothered pork. So good!

Delicious!!I also used more onions(as we love them) and the second time I made it I had the meat already sliced in servings, which made it easier to serve, the meat wasn't as tender though...I did add more salt and pepper since we like our meat to have a strong taste and the first time we found the meat alone(not when topped with the onions since the onions give a wonderful taste) to be a bit bland...We love this recipe and will make it over and over again!!!Thanks!

I have been looking for recipes that I can cook in the house instead of grilling since its getting darker and this one was awesome. I had to double it since I have two 1lb loins to cook, but it all worked out fine and tasted great. Even the kids ate their entire helping which is not common for foods that are not cooked on the grill. I used red onions since that was what I had and it was really fantastic. This one is a definite keeper!

hmmmm....caramelized onions--good. pork tenderloin---good. The 2 items mixed with no seasoning other than salt and pepper = a very bland and uninspired dinner. Sorry for my low stars, but this did nothing for me. It was basically plain pork with lovely onions on top. I will try something marinated next time, this was not worth the effort of pre-cooking the onions. I was hoping for so much more, based on the other good reviews.

I have tried about 25 recipes on this site and this one, by far is the easiest. My whole family loved it, including my 17 year old and his friend, and my 4 year old. It is a recipe I will use for a dinner party. The only change I made was to use more onion. I also placed baby potatoes around the meat to cook with the juices.

For a simple, easy recipe this is great!! The only thing I did differently was that I used pork chops instead of a tenderloin. Next time I might double the onions just because I love onions.
