Caramelized Bacon Twists
SUBMITTED BY:
Jane Paschke
"'A friend gave me this recipe to use at a bridal shower brunch, and the sweet chewy bacon strips were a big hit,' recalls Jane Paschke from Duluth, Minnesota. Lining the pan with foil before baking helps cut down on cleanup."

So simple and so good! I'm embarrassed to say that DH and I ate the entire pan in one sitting.

OMG! As if bacon weren't addicting enough already! These were out of this world good. I omitted the cinnamon & put the sugar in a big baggie w/ the bacon. I was able to really coat the bacon that way. I cooked them on a wire rack, over my foil lined pan & I set them on a sheet of parchment paper after baking. This takes bacon to a whole new level...thanks Jane Paschke!

Excellent and easy! the only thing I changed was that I left it in for 40min, instead of 20min.

These tasted good, but I think the cooking instructions were wrong. I had to cook about 20 minutes longer than instructed.

Positively addictive! I baked at 400 F for 12 minutes since that's what my bacon package said. Turned out great! I cut down the recipe to 4 slices and wished I would have made more!

The bacon has a very unique flavor to it. I would definitely put it on a rack to bake it next time, it held too much bacon grease for my taste. I will also lay it flat for baking and cook it longer for a crispier bacon. I am going to crumble some of the bacon and add it to my Chinese salad recipe.

Dang! This was a really tasty and quick way to make bacon! I used turkey bacon and didn't use any cinnamon, and it turned out great! Quite sticky though, and a little messy for cleanup, but definitly worth it!
