This is an open-face apple pie that 's baked up with apples, and a bit of sugar and cinnamon sprinkled on. When it emerges bubbly and brown from the oven, it 's topped with marshmallows and popped into the oven again until the top is melted and golden.

With applesauce, this apple crisp offers twice the apple goodness of others. Applesauce, brown sugar and cinnamon are combined, and stirred into sliced apples. The mixture is then piled into a large baking dish and topped with sugar. The crisp is then baked in the oven for one hour.

The easiest Dutch apple pie and the scrummiest. This is THE traditional Dutch treat for birthdays or visitors. Preparation very quick and you can't go wrong! Add a cup of raisins to apples if desired.

Apple slices are dusted with cinnamon, piled into an 8-inch square pan, and topped with a crumbly flour, sugar and egg mixture, with a bit of baking powder stirred in. Then it 's dusted with sugar and cinnamon, and slipped into the oven.
