I didn't think that there was anything special to this. It seemed like something was missing, and I would have liked to have more nuts in it. If you decided to make this, be sure to use the deep roasting pan so that the caramel won't burn. I doubled the batch, but only had one pan, so I put the other on a cookie sheet, which ended up being a burnt mess. The batch in the roasting pan turned out fine, though. I don't think I'll make this again.
