This is exactly like the popcorn my grandma used to make when I was little!! I have been searching for this recipe for a long time. I bake mine a little less for a more chewy texture.

I thought this was ok, I was looking for more of a chewy one, this tastes like cracker jacks, and has the consistancy of it.

I love my whirley-pop popcorn, but I don't measure and sometimes get things a little too salty. This is our favorite way to "rescue" the popcorn. So much so, that my husband has asked me to over-salt a batch just so I'd make this again. Thanks for the awesome recipe!

WONDERFUL RECIPE! I've made this about a dozen times now and it always turns out great. I usually halve the recipe and use 2.5 bags of extra butter microwave popcorn. I also only bake for about 15 minutes because I usually have several kids breathing down my neck. DELICIOUS!

This popcorn was really good. It tasted like a Cracker Jack version and I think I may add peanuts next time to make it exactly like Cracker Jack. I followed the recipe exactly. Will definitely keep this one!

This was really good. I just used 1/2 cup of butter like others suggested. I like that it did not stick to my teeth and it stored well in ziploc bags. I think it is good to use popcorn with a little salt on it because I love the sweet and salty mix. I will be making this often!

This caramel popcorn is great! I took the advice of several reviewers - warming the popcorn in the oven before mixing and cutting the butter in half. I'll definitely be making this again!

This recipe is pretty darn awesome. The only reason it wasn't perfect is because I messed it up! Remember everybody, oven temps and times vary. But it still tasted great and everyone ate it all. So no complaints. I'll try it again and keep my eye on it...

I have never made caramel popcorn before and thought it would be difficult but this recipe is simple. It tastes just like Kernels, or even better! I used two bags of microwave plain popcorn and it was just the right amount. I am going to make this all the time. Very addicting! Excellent recipe.

Delectable! Surprisingly easy and oh so delicious. We made the recipe exactly as written; made another batch with the addition of pecans; and yet another batch using the brown paper bag method of mixing the popcorn and caramel mixture together. The most difficult part of the recipe is following the last instruction, "Let cool completely..."

This is excellent popcorn! Definitely a keeper. I made some tonight with my 8 year old son, and needless to say, all of my kids enjoyed it. We used 2 bags of popcorn and I found that to be just enough to use for this recipe. I also did not add salt because I thought it would be overkill with the popcorn being salted already. Other than that, we followed the recipe exactly. 5 stars!
