This is by far the best Caramel Popcorn recipe I have come across yet. Made as written, with the addition of salted peanuts. The caramel/popcorn ratio is perfect, as well as the baking temperature and time. Love the fact that the caramel corn retains its crunchiness and does not go soggy. We'll be having this quite often in our household.

EXCELLENT RECIPE! So easy and comes out perfect! My ONLY issue is I am IMPATIENT! So waiting an hour for the popcorn to get done in the oven was TORTURE!

So yummy. Be careful though, or you could become seriously addicted! This recipe is great because it's not sticky and messy once it's cooked.

This is delicious! Next time I will only add 1/2 cup of butter in an attempt to make it not so fattening!

This recipe is very tasty! It's fast & easy! My only recommendation would be to let the popcorn cool on waxed paper about 5 minutes after you take it out of the oven. I've tried it both ways & felt it was much easier to get out of the baking dish when it's still flexible.

AWESOME!!!! I also cut the butter down by half. I made homemade popcorn, about a cup of unpopped kernela, just the right amount.

This recipe makes really, really good caramel corn! I used smart pop microwave popcorn, as it was all I had on hand. I took others advice and kept the popcorn warm until ready to mix. It mixed very easily and coated extremely well. I found it helpful to take to popcorn out of the pan while it was still hot and place it on parchment paper to cool and get crunchy!. That way none sticks to the pan. After about 10-15 minutes I was able to break up the popcorn easily. Very good!

This buttery caramel coated popcorn melts in your mouth. It's so amazing. There is no recipe like it. It takes a while to bake, but it is sooo worth it. I wouldn't change a thing in this recipe, except maybe drizzle on a little chocolate over it or add peanuts, but it really doesn't need it. Yummy!

This is very good. I made something similar on a different recipe site that used the crunchy hard Cheetos instead of popcorn. This is definitely less fattening than that recipe! I used 1 stick of butter and it came out great. I used a hot air popper to make the popcorn and wish I knew how much raw popcorn made 5 quarts of popped corn. I am sure that fact is out there but I didn't have time to look it up. I just used 1/2 a cup of raw popcorn kernels in the hot air popper. Seems to be perfect. Doesn't seem to make that much. It all fit in a gallon ziploc bag after it had cooled from the oven.
