Absolutely incredible. It was a hit. Next time it's our turn to bring snacks to an event, we're bringing this one for sure! We used left over movie popcorn and it was yummmo!

This is great. What makes this is the brown sugar. Add those little red peanuts and this tastes alot like Cracker Jacks. Just remember to PICK OUT THE UNPOPPED KERNELS or you will break your teeth! Very good 5 stars!

This was awesome! I made it with my 4 year old who is always wanting to "make recipes" with me. Only baked for about 30 minutes because the rest of the family was stealing it from the pan every time I took it out to stir anyway so I just gave up and said go for it. It was perfect this way!

Great recipe. Use pecans instead of peanuts. Keep stirring the syrup and don't overcook it or it will be grainy. Let it cool and it will harden up.

WoW is all I can say! It's great, I went by the recipe but the only brown sugar I had was dark brown, next time I'll use the light brown. I used one stick of butter and one of margarine and 3 bags of Pops Secret extra butter popcorn.

This was a hit! I did experiment with the baking time. I left a little out after each 15 minute interval and let it cool. I sampled each time and found that the best texture and flavor was after the 3rd 15 minute stir (45 minutes total bake time). An hour is just a bit too long and made the sugar more granular.

I have been making this exact recipe for over 25 years. My friends and family look forward to it every holiday season. Another tip....air popped corn works excellent! The popcorn is so light and fluffy. Those air poppers aren't good for much else, but they sure make good caramel corn.

Fantastic, easy recipe. I only baked it 30 minutes and that was enough to dry it out. I adjusted the recipe for 2 quarts for a little snack and it was plenty for 3 people to munch on. I didn't bake it in a pyrex, instead I baked it on a sheet pan with a silpat. I also buttered my bowl for mixing. After I pour the caramel out I fill the saucepan with water and put it back on the burner for a while. The hot water will dissolve the sugar and make for an easy clean up. I also dip my spoons in there to clean and pour the hot water over the remaining dirty dishes in the sink. Some things to add in would be salted peanuts and pretzles.

Made this recipe today. took me about 15 minutes prep time. I used 2 popped bags of popcorn & cut the amount of salt in half. And only baked it for about 20-30 minutes because the caramel coating smelled like it was starting to burn. It tastes great! FYI-5 Quarts is 20 Cups of popcorn 1 Quart=4 Cups

This caramel corn is CLASSIC!!! It is either as good or better than the stuff you get at the market or fair. It is very sweet, but oooh so good! It's definitely better the next day after everything get's a good chance to harden... so the corn isn't as soft and the sugar has hardened. It's delicious... and so easy! Try it for a party and mix with peanuts or m&m's and you won't be sorry!! What a great hit for our family movie night!

I used three bags of popcorn and the same amount of caramel sauce and it turned out great, but I like my popcorn completely covered in crunchy caramel. I can't wait to make this again! Next time I think I'll add honey roasted peanuts.

This is so good it should be illegal! The secret is keeping the popcorn hot. I think that's what keeps it from deflating when you put on the caramel. Also the stirring during the baking time, that seems to be essential. I use wooden spoons for the mixing and stirring and I grease everything. I've made this twice now and both times it has come out just melt in your mouth perfect. I have the sweet and salty thing going on so I up the salt some. I roast fresh peanuts to put in and I also use air popped corn. In my air popper, which has it's own half cup measure, I use two half cup measures, that's two batches, half cup at a time, and then another quarter measure and that has given me the correct amount of popped corn. I keep the corn hot in the 250 oven and just follow the recipe from there. I have cut the butter in half and it's just as good really. I thought I'd only make half a recipe this time but for some reason ended up making the whole thing, stuff really is addictive! lol
