I am still learning the ropes on how long to bake this, but I LOVE THIS PIE!!!! My next door neighbor is a pecan NUT and she said that she's tried pie all the way across America and this is the best she's ever had. I agree.

Absolutely THE BEST recipe I have found on this site yet! (And I've found a lot of great recipes here!) I made two of these pies for Christmas, and they dissappeared the same day. I'm about to make two more for New Years!! Thanks Corwynn!!

This was a attractive pie and the taste was excellent ( or so I was told ) because I didn't get any, but I will try again and cut my piece first.I baked the pie as is on the recipe and it turned out really good. Thanks Corwynn for shareing

I was really looking forward to this recipe. I LOVE pecan pie and caramel but I thought this recipe was just "ok". I just didn't think the flavor was that wonderful. I brought it to Christmas dinner. Only one other person (out of 18 people) had a slice and chose the other desserts available. I would rather have the taste and texture of a tradional pecan pie and drizzle caramel on top. I'm deleting this from my recipe box.

LOVED, LOVED THIS RECIPE. I MADE 2 AT THE SAME TIME...EASY TO DOUBLE, JUST SPLIT INTO 2 PIE CRUSTS. I DID ADD 1/2 CUP TO 3/4 CUP EXTRA PECANS TO THE RECIPE AND IT CAME OUT FINE. I'M GLAD I ADDED THEM. THE PIE'S PUFFED UP WHILE BAKING, BUT SHRUNK WHEN RESTED. PEOPLE RAVED ABOUT THIS. NOT TOO SWEET LIKE OTHER PECAN PIE'S. DEFINATELY RECOMMEND.

This came out really runny and we couldn't eat it. I think it was my fault though. The bag had a few more than 36 caramels, so I threw them in the mix. Either way, it was still the ugliest pie I've ever made and we nicknamed it "butt ugly nut pie". I might try this again because if it comes out, it's a better alternative to the gloopy congealed stuff in the middle of most pecan pies. I wouldn't whip it so much with the mixer so the top wouldn't get so poofy and ugly and I would probably put some pretty pecans on top.

Oh Wow! This pecan pie is awesome -- my favorite pie is pecan and this is my favorite recipe for pecan pie! It's easy to make -- the hardest part is taking the wrappers off the caramels (and not eating any of them). It comes out really pretty -- a little hard to cut but oh soooo good.

I was looking for a great recipe for a desert to take to my dad's 50th B-day party, he loves pecan pie, but when he tryed this he loved it and even passed on his own birthday cake for 2nds. My husband also gave it fav reviews and insists that I make it again this weekend for Christmas. This really is a great pie, and very easy to make, the hardest most time consuming part was unwrapping the 36 candies.

I made this pie for thanksgiving. I can't eat pecans because of an allergy, but everyone raved about it! It was gone in less than an hour. Highly recommended!

Very tasty and easy to make, but my pie did not set completely. It was runny in the middle even after completely cooled. I placed it in the fridge and served it cold to thicken it.
