This was a huge hit at my work. Everyone loved it and several asked for the recipe. I read a few of the reviews and some said it was too sweet - well, I thought it was perfect!!!

Great and easy recipe. It tasted so good. I only use 1/3 cup of sugar and it is just perfect. I get a lot of compliments from people at work. Sure will make it again.

I've been making this pie for years and it's awesome, but a little runny. I found a solution. Instead of using caramels, you can make your own with sweetened condensed milk. You pour 2 cans into a pot, cover with foil and place inside a pan with 1/4" of water. Bake at 400 degrees for 1.5 hours and you have yourself some THICK caramel and then just follow the recipe exactly! Refigerate overnight and this pie comes out FANTASTIC and stays together VERY nicely!

This was delicious. But as time consuming as it was to unwrap all those caramels (100) since I baked two pies, it is not THAT much better than a traditional pecan pie. Also, I did cut the sugar a bit, and I'm glad I did. I cannot imagine how sweet it would have been with all that sugar, because my pies were plenty sweet and I am a sugar fiend!! Very good though, just too time consuming.

I've made pecan pie many times before, but I made this one for Christmas dinner because it sounded like fun to make. Everyone loved it! Next year I'll have my grandchildren help by unwrapping all the caramels! I can't wait! Great recipe!

Everyone always requests my "special pumpkin pecan pie" for the holidays. I don't care for it as much as everyone else does, so I decided to try and make this for myself while everyone was eating the other. But, everyone ate this instead! They now have a new favorite!

My husband, who normally doesn't like pecan pie, loved this pie. It's pretty sweet, but to me the caramel flavor makes the sweetness easier to handle than some other pecan pies. The first time I made it I was in a rush and took it out 5-10 minutes early - it's still great even when the middle isn't set!

I made this the weekend I had a cocktail party. I decided to put about 8 pieces on the table thinking people probably wouldn't want pie, and it was completely gone in the first hour. And people kept asking what was in it and savoring every bite. I have made it three times since! Great recipe!
