I've made this pie for 5 years in a row during Thanksgiving and this pie gets rave reviews and never outlasts the pumpkin pies. In face, a couple of years I didn't a piece so I had to resort to making two of these to meet the demand. Do yourself a favor and make this pie. Even if you don't like regular pecan pie you have to give this one a try. It is delish!

My only suggestion it to chop the pecans to make the pie easier to cut. Simply loved it! Everyone loved it!

I first made this recipe about a year ago and have made it for every family get together since! I was never a pecan pie fan but this pie is amazing, my b/f begs me to make it all the time.

I made this recipe just as it is, except I used pecan pieces instead of whole pecans and it was wonderful. The whole family loved it. I will make it again for Thanksgiving.

THIS IS THE BEST PECAN PIE EVER!!! The only addition that I did was mixing 6 caramel candies, about 1/2 Tblsp of butter, and a little milk in a bowl. Melt contents in microwave and drizzle topping on pie. FINGER LICKING GOOD!!!

A terrific recipe! I use 1/2 cup brown sugar instead of the white sugar called for, and now my family asks me to make it every Thanksgiving. I even won an 'iron chef' competition at my local coffee shop with this pie. And I don't cook very often!

This was a tasty pie. The filling was thicker than your standard gooey corn syrup pie and not quite as sweet. It has a subtle caramel flavor to it. I have a huge sweet tooth, though, and prefer the corn syrup pecan pies to this one!

This was so yummy! I made it for the first time for a work picinic and I was a little worried that 'pecan pie fundamentalists' wouldn't appreciate the caramel base, but everyone LOVED it. It was super easy to make and tasted great! This will definitely become a staple in my dessert arsenal.

I made this for Thanksgiving a few years ago. It is very tasty and easy. The hardest part was unwrapping all the caramels. I do think it is more expensive than other peacan pies that are just as good.

I made this for a pie contest at work and won! I used Rolo's instead of individually wrapped caramels, which gave it a chocolatey taste, but it meshed well. I've made this pie three or four times now, and it always a hit. Thanks!

I`ve made this pie for the second time and I can`t say how amazing it was. For the first time I didn`t like this pie with a traditional pie crust. I made this with a cookie crust and it was wonderful. Made this pie with a chocolate cookie crust, you have yourself a real winner. Reduce sugar to 1/2 cup.

This was great! Tasted just like regular pecan pie (in case you are worried that it would be too caramel-y). I made it for Christmas dinner, and it was the first time I EVER made pecan pie, and everyone loved it. My dad even finished it later that night! Very easy, I will definitely be making this again!
