I have made this candy before, but not using the microwave. My sugar became lumpy when stirring in, so I just popped it back in the microwave and it helped to smooth the mixture. I would suggest doing this or sifting the powdered sugar, which the recipe does not suggest. I do love this candy. I leave out the marshmallows and roll the mixture in only peanuts. It reminds me of a payday.

This turned out okay but not something everyone was reaching for. But it was a good way to use up some caramels I'd bought. I think I'd add more peanuts next time to give it more crunch or maybe some cornflakes.

My family loves this recipe! I am always asked to bring this for holiday get togethers. I did alter the recipe by removing the half and half that is used. This made the logs set up a little better in my experiences!
