So fun to make! We had the neighbors' kids over and made a night out of creating these treats. They had a blast and we ended up with more than enough for everyone to take home. Thanks!

I rarely comment on recipes, but this one deserves special mention for its ease and taste. Better than the mail-order treats (with the unpronounceable name), we whipped up a batch in about 10 minutes. While we had caramel left, it took MUCH more than 5 cups of cereal to coat them all -- and we had about 40 marshmallows in our batch (one standard bag of large marshmallows). I am storing them in the freezer until they will be used. Thanks so much for a great easy recipe!!

I've had these since I was a kid - and they are still a favorite. This recipe is exactly as I remember...and SO easy!

These were fun and a nice change from the typical cookies. I made them for Christmas, and they were enjoyed by all! I did about 1/4 of them rolled in pecans, and those were especially delicious! I'll do them all that way, next time.

Kids LOVED them and didnt want me to give them out. Too much caramel mix and Krispies left over. Like another person said, double up on the marshmallows. VERY good

Very good, dyed the rice krispies green for Christmas. We all had green tongues after eating (lol). Kind of time consuming and they tasted better than they looked. Wonder if you crushed the Rice Krispies for a finer coating it would make a taste difference? My rice krispies kind of clumped up and stuck out akwardly. Overall, very cute and good idea.

These were good, but I thought they were a little too sweet for my taste. As a previous reviewer said, it made too much of the caramel sauce. I think the recipe probably should call for a full bag of marshmallows.

this recipe was lots of fun to make (and kids can help!)...however the caramel mixture made WAY more than 50 large marshmallows (and 5 cups of rice crispies). i probably did about 70 marshmallows and 2 big apples with some left-over. if you want them to match, double the marshmallows and rice crispies. and i think you can skip the freezing part in the beginning. by the time i got to my 20th marshmallow, the other ones were pretty much soft already. overall though, very tasty and fun to make...it just makes A LOT!

I added 1 tsp. of cinnamon to the caramel mixture and rolled in small pecan pieces. Taste a lot like a bite of pecan pie. Most requested recipe at our company's christmas potluck.

Delicious!! These are like bite size rice crispy treats. Perfect service size! These are a big hit. I didn't think this recipe was hard to make at all. It would be great for kids to help with.

These are alot of work, but worth it! My kids and family loved them! We rolled some in plain and fruity rice krispies.
