These cookies taste amazing. The only problem I had was leaky caramel. I used chocolate caramels(no name brand, I think) that were huge, so it was hard to wrap the dough around them completly. Next time I would try Rolo's, or something smaller, and I would leave the walnuts out of the dough and just roll the cookies in pecans instead. Delicious!

People at the office just love these cookies! I omit the nuts &roll the entire cookie in sugar- even though I double the recipe, these people pleasers are gone in seconds flat! I've done a version using mint filled candies (just a hint- cut larger candies in half or the mint can be over-powering). Thank you Lisa for this wonderful recipe!!

These were excellent cookies! They turned out perfectly using parchment paper. They were a bit more work since you have to unwrap all the candies and roll each cookie but well worth it!

These turned out great. I made these for gifts & didn't use nuts (recipients have allergies). I let the dough chill for about 3 hours while I ran errands. I would possibly divide the dough prior to refigerating next time. I used both Rolos & Caramel Kisses. Both taste great, but some of the Kisses cookies leaked. I never bake from scratch, but had no problem working with the dough.

I missed the part about letting them cool on the cookie sheet first, so first batch leaked on wax paper. Other than my mistake, these cookies were great and loved by my family.

absolutly delicious and so easy to make! I used caramel hershey kisses and they turned out amazing! The key is that the dough needs to be cold when you are working with it. I kept the dough outside in the 20 degree weather which chilled it nicely, will definitly make these over and over again!! so yummy and so easy! everyone was impressed by these!

Just finished these. They really weren't that hard. You just have to refrigerate the dough long enough so it won't be too sticky. I left the nuts out of the dough but did put them on the tops. They are very chocolately but good.

very yummy!! Used the treasure box chocolates filled with caramel which were a little too big and was a little challenging to form the cookie dough around, but regardless they were super good!! Will make again.

Made these with a group of friends at our cookie baking party yesterday... they were a lot of work and pretty messy in the making but boy were they worth it! YUM!! We used Hershey's caramel kisses in the middle and they came out to die for! VERY chocolatey and had a little pool of caramel in the middle. Terrific! Definitely a keeper!

They are amazing! I followed the recipe exactly accept I Refrigerated overnight & only baked them for 9 minutes and everyone loves them. Only 2 leaked caramel. I am going to make another batch already because I am sure they will be a hit!

This was a good recipe....if you like chocolate! I used caramel filled kisses and put them on top, like a peanutbutter blossom. I ran out of time to wrap the kiss in the cookie dough. They were just fine.

Great recipe - the trick to these is to keep the dough cold and work with only small amounts of dough at a time and then they will turn out perfect!

This was a great recipe to try. As someone who can bake basic things I thought that I might mess this up, but it worked out amazing. I used Hershey's kisses with caramel filling, and they didn't leak out at all. They were a big hit with everyone. This is a really great recipe, and really simple to do.

so good. I didn't use the walnuts. I ran out of caramels and started using cherries and rolled them in coconut. I bake these every year.

These were awesome! I didn't have much problem with the dough, eventhough it is quite sticky. I used my small pampered chef cookie scoop with each cookie being 1 1/3 scoops. I made the dough into the balls and then pushed a rolo into the center. Next, I formed the dough up around the rolo till it was completely covered. I didn't use nuts or sugar and they were still wonderful. I also used parchment paper, just in case any leaked. Not one cookie leaked, but I still recommend the parchment paper.

These cookies are the bomb. I make a similar cookie only with snicker bites and these are much better. I loved the nuts, they really added an extra touch to the cookie. The only thing that I didn't like was they were really messy to roll. I had alot of extra dough left on my hands afterwards. But very very very good. I will be making again!!!!!!
